Shipping costs and delivery across USA
We deliver flower bulbs, seeds, perennials, roses and other plants across the USA.
Upon placing your order you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your order and a shipping estimate. You will also receive an email notification when your order actually ships with an updated arrival estimate. If you have ordered multiple items, you may receive them in more than one shipment. We will send you a separate email confirming each shipment.
Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.
To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window above.
Bulb and perennial shipments direct from Holland are harvested in July and August dependent on the season and crop. Once fully inspected and packaged they are shipped direct to you in the most efficient manner to follow the dates above.
We add a standard charge for delivery on orders depending on the states where you live. All delivery costs are added automatically to your basket.
- Plants, bulbs, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement.
- Seeds and garden tools are normally delivered within 7 working days.
Frequently Asked Questions about delivery
Can I collect my order at your warehouse/shop?
No, florium.COM only delivers via the post. Your order is shipped from the Netherlands.
Who delivers your parcels?
We use international or local parcel delivery companies, like DPD, UPS, PostNL. Delivery time is approximately 2-5 business days. After your order is shipped you will receive a Track&Trace number that you can use to track your package.
Can I choose a day I want my parcel delivered?
No, unfortunately, this is not yet possible.
What if I am not at home when my package is delivered?
Parcel delivery companies will usually try to deliver once again or leave the parcel at your neighbours. They will leave a notice, telling you they tried to deliver. We recommend contacting them as soon as possible to arrange a convenient time for your order to be delivered.
Will my order be delivered as one package?
We aim to deliver your order at once. On exceptional occasions, we are forced to ship your order partially. No additional shipping costs will be added in case we need to split your order.
